Fauci works in infectious diseases at at time when one is giving the country trouble. Seems to me that everyone who is in a position of leadership is getting hammered by some fraction of the population. DeSantis is a hero to some, murderer to others.

First, I doubt that anyone besides Fauci who was working at the NIH from 1968 - 1972 is still on the payroll.

Second, Fauci was a scientist who worked for the NIAID division of the NIH which specifically works on infectious disease like syphilis.

Guilt by association? No, I'm not interested in that, I am interested in whether or not Fauci knew about the experiments and did nothing, which is what everybody else in the pipeline did.
