    Biden Administration to Withdraw Chipman Nomination as BATFE Head

    The Biden Administration is throwing in the towel on this. The final nail in the coffin seems to have been Angus King (I) Maine saying he won't support the nomination. Manchin (D) W. Virginia and Sienema, (D) Arizona also had reservations about the nomination.

    I watched part of Chipman's hearings and it struck me that a fellow who had been a career BATFE agent could no so little about guns.

      Good. His bias was in the extreme, and he can go back to being a lobbyist and a Gary Busey impersonator.
