Another lemming-like fad has bitten the dust ...

The first fad was confined to the propagandists pretending to be journalists.
As is their wont, one of them starts it off with a word or phrase designed
to besmirch someone in the GOP. This particular word was the double negative
"Irregardless". They all dropped the word in wherever they could during their
newscasts - much to the amusement of their better educated audience, until
they realized how stupid they sounded.
The next fad was carrying and constantly swigging from water bottles while
shopping or walking along the street. Maybe it was just a California thing,
but it was ridiculous. It was interesting watching them talk into their phones
whilst swigging water. I assume it was water. Might have been Gin.
Anyway, that has come to an end so I'm wondering what the next dumb fad
will be.

and Virginia has suffered from it a long time, as have Colorado, Tex and a few other states
