Those Cruise Ships are getting bigger and bigger and bigger ...

This one's monstrous and will carry a total of just under 10,000 people
    including workers, crew and guests.
I see only eighteen lifeboats - that would be around 550 per boat.
Good luck with that. I hope they don't run into any icebergs.

Pulling into port with a 5000 man crew was bad enough when I was in the navy. I just can't see the draw to get on a cruise ship.

                    +1

Even before the Kung-Flu broke out craming 5000-10,000 people into a ship with closed ventilation was an accident waiting to happen.

They appear to be becoming top heavy too. That's why the Concordia rolled over instead of just getting stuck.

As I said several times already..The DM posts the news before the US sites get it and post it! The people in the US read it hours after DM posts it..

No, you're (inconsistent). You don't like the Dly Mail yet you read the links.
You should have the courage of your convictions.

I never read roadtrax - he's (not someone I enjoy)

Let's moderate the insults a bit, shall we?

(Edit: less work to clean up if not quoted. Thanks!)

actually I rarely look at the daily mail

they are consistently bloated with ads,

and also give my adblocker a fit, so I have to go incognito,

btw,, do you ever really read the articles, ,and esp the captions for the pics?

accuracy is not their strong point,, one of the reasons they are called the daily fail
