Do you not wonder why so many Nurses are refusing the jab mandate ? ...

To me it seems a simple choice of who to believe - a Politician or a Nurse.
For me, the choice is easy.
Togor believes the Politician - but that Politician is a Democrat which explains it.
If the Politician were a Republican, he's believe the Nurse.

    Because the nurses are stupid?

    The virus isn't political.

My wife is a registered nurse (BSN) w/ 25 years of experience. She has just received another promotion. She is adamant that having the vaccine is the best decision for anyone who chooses to walk out the front door of their home into the general population. For the hermit, recluse, etc., they exclude themselves. The overwhelming vast majority of people do not have such an option available to them. Yesterday one of our coaches at our local HS, age 32, took a turn for the worse. He has been in ICU w/ Covid for over 30 days. His wife and children will deal with the consequences of his illness and likely death. He was not vaccinated. In a few days I will take the second shot of the vaccine that protects against Shingles. Saw a good pastor friend deal with it. For sure don't want it. Even if this Shingles vaccine only reduces the severity of an infection, that will be far better than dealing with it full bore. Our coach ... age 32 ... wife and kids and a great guy ... looks like that stuff is going to get him. Got to wonder why in the world he messed around and failed to get vaccinated. Sincerely. bruce.

Again, it's a choice. Should not be mandatory, I took the shots but it was my CHOICE.

My nephew has COVID. He was in the hospital for three months -- one month in a medically-induced coma. He had a collapsed lung. He's scheduled to get the vaccine now!

i had covid in April. i have more than my fair share of "comorbities"...

ive had worse cases of bronchitis than what this was...

and i washed my hands for 20 minutes. disinfected my work area at work. stayed 6-7 feet from everyone and wore the revered mask...

my wife who has NEVER had a childhood disease and has NEVER had a childhood disease vaccine was told by her immuniologist to NOT get the vaccine because it most very likely will ruin her natural immunity and she would be more susceptible to the childhood diseases AND covid and her chances of survival fell below 50%...

one cousin and my best friend are both Nurse Anesthetists with advanced degrees, decades of experience with drugs, drug interactions and research have both said dont get the vaccine. my sister who is a Dr with decades of experience in every conceivable manner of medical work said dont get the vaccine. only ONE of my other 3 cousins and 6 friends who are RNs and/or Nurse Practitioners have all said dont get the vaccine...

not ONE OF THEM can you say "nurses arent smart" to, and have it be accurate...

                      How many is "so many".

Recently there was an article about Houston Methodist Hospital which lost 153 employees who refused the vaccination. Sounds like "many", but this was out of a total of over 25,000 employees.

Everyone has an opinion, and this includes doctors and nurses. One study shows that those who have had the covid and the vaccination have the most protection from getting the virus again. Those that have not had covid or the vaccination have the best chance of dying from the covid.

That's quite a collection of medical folks in your circle all taking the contrarian view. But no mistake most medical professionals in the country see it different.

There's a phrase "the price of freedom" we all know what it means. Nobody in this country should be held down and forcibly get the jab against their will--that's the freedom. But if not vaccinated there may be jobs they can't have, places they can't go--that's the price.

Where in life besides politics does it fly to say "I can do whatever the hell I want and it's nobody's business but mine"?

Not at work, or school, church or the shooting range. Maybe at home if home is alone in a shack in the woods.
