The acts constituting treason are explicitly spelled out in the Constitution and its clear Milley did not commit treason.

It is also clear the Milley went around the chain of command. That act of insubordination is what got McArthur fired by Truman and appropriately so. Milley was smart enough to be insubordinate when his boss had one foot out the door.
