The answer is, it's not any more good/bad than Trump, or Obama, or Bush. The events that have occurred over the last 20 years, and how someone might agree and disagree with the choices made, will be heavily influenced by how they frame their world and who they interact with.

By the fall of 2020, we knew what Trump had accomplished. In 2017 we couldn't say. Same goes for Biden.

In my opinion, I'd say "not much" because of the mess the world was in. In fact, based on what we know, his biggest accomplishment thus far was taking office simply because of the extensive efforts to stop that from happening after November.

It's important not to emotionally invest in a populist, because what follows can (I said can) be much worse.

Oh yeah, as if the feeling of "spiritual communion" between the people and the great leader never leads to it all going off the rails.

For now I'll be happy neither party not trying to wreck the credit of the Federal government.

RKT Thanks for your response, of course a persons perception or how they may be influenced has much to do with their opinion. I would however correct a small portion of your reply if I may,to: the mess the world is in. It also appears togor is happy for now.We should all be thankful for that, as long as it may last.

Togor is tired of all of the culture war crap. The right has been steeped in it since Reagan, getting worse every year, and now the left is almost as bad.

For f*ck's sake, we need people to start thinking with their heads again and not their asses. A pox on both houses!!!!!

I would suggest that both sides were steeped in it from before Reagan, possible always have to some degree,

I would suggest that both parties became one sometime during the Clinton Admin, or maybe Bush I,,

You could be right, and everything from Confederate statues to the 1619 project, defund the police, the thin blue line, abortion harassment, transgender bathrooms, etc., are all just hot buttons pushed to keep people locked into the red/blue camps.

Problem is, it's getting worse than ever and basic things can't get done and damn near everyone is pissed off about something.

And I'm not one of those who thinks we need a dictatorship to cut through the crap. A dictatorship will only make things worse.

What we need is enough people to wake up and just make a bad business out of pushing radicalism, left or right. Get the radicals to STFU for awhile so normal people can work things out.

pushing radicalism was a thing pre McCarthy, and again in the 60's,
those radical hippies got jobs later and became professors,, or educators,

or in some cases, professional racists,

they make money on keeping things stirred up,
