If I didn't know better, I'd think Biden is a Chinese Agent ...

preparing the country for invasion. Yeah, far-fetched maybe, but then again
remember Hunter's ties with the Chinese and those pots full of money
And why is Biden deliberately causing chaos with his crazy actions including
the infamous vac mandate that will rob the country of thousands of
essential personnel, Police, Army, Navy etc, plus Doctors, Nurses, Firefighters,
Paramedics. People are going to die because of this and Biden knows but
doesn't care. He's causing high inflation yet still wants more Trillions to spend.
He's got it so that no one wants to work, shelves are emptying, Ports can't
unload cargo and hundreds of thousands of illegals are pouring in and spreading
    across the country.
No, it's not the Pandemic. We've had those before and life went on as normal.
The troubles are because of Biden and they're purposeful. But to what end,
to ensure everlasting Democrat control, or something more devious ?

If this was imminent invasion then why the hell would all those people put their personal fears ahead of what's good for the country? The vaccine mindlessness we're seeing is purely the stuff of peacetime theatrics.

DT if it's 1941 and you're in the king's army then you are bloody well getting whatever shots, dips, and vermin treatments otherwise going to the troops. And you know as well as I do that there's nothing for it but to make the best of it.

The British used to be world leaders at just sucking it up in the face of a bad business. It's a big part of how they won the empire. Are you post-imperial now? The face of a kinder, gentler Britain??

Whatever else Biden is, he is certainly all of these:
        Deer in the headlights
        Bull in a china shop
        Mad as a Hatter

No Togor I'm not post Imperial. I was at the invasion of Suez which was when the Empire died.

          Alright then, DT.

It can be argued then that Biden (or whoever is issuing mandates to frontline personnel) is doing the right thing NOW by figuring out who will let irrational fears take them out of action, versus those who are ready to do what is necessary.

Remember the chosen paradigm is yours--a disciplined country resisting invasion. Can't have people faffing about in that case, can we?

The PATCO strike and mass firing comes to mind.

Everyone said the system would go to hell but enough supervisors and non-striking controllers stayed on the job so that things got through.

So PATCO is a pretty strong reminder that anyone can be replaced.

I knew a guy, that's how he got into ATC. His dad was a controller (retired I think, or supervisor), and he was a OSU College Boy at the time. At the mass firing, his dad said "if you ever want to try it, now's the time". So he dropped out of college and took their tests. Back then they expected every controller to be able to keep the planes in the air even with a dark screen, so they tested people to see if their brains were wired for it. I'm sure he's long retired now on a juicy Federal Pension.

Of course he is...who do you think the "anonymous buyers" of Hunter Bidens paintings are that are paying $500,000 a pop for his drivel?

Hunter's "spit" paintings have really developed a niche market. They probably come with a registration card that is returned with the buyer's personal information and preferred contact method.
