    Taiwan's future

Will Joe, er, I mean O'Bamma, come to their defense when China makes a move to over run them? There are a lot more American citizens in Taiwan than there were in Afganistan! If China makes its move there would not be any planes rescueing them! They will wind up in concentration camps!

Why do you think the container ships are setting off shore and not getting unloaded , after 40 + years of container freight we forgot how to move them come on man . We don't need china it may be cheap but we don't need them .

Why doesn't taiwan start a formal secession from china, right now they are part of china like it or not.

It might work -- the Chinese would laugh themselves to death.

However, despite Intel's history, it's not the only company in the semiconductor business in Arizona. In March, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. announced it was building a $12 billion, 3.8 million square foot manufacturing complex in Phoenix.

XI wants their manufacturing base. If he knows it will be in ruins he may balk and reveal his bluff.
