    The Return of Racism

Texas (and some other states) have passed laws making the shaming a child in the educational system because of his/her inherent genetic characteristics, especially race, illegal. The fact that these laws are condemned as "racist" by very large segments of the press academia and government shows how much trouble we are really in. This is exactly the root cause of these local parents uprisings we've seen scattered across the country. I don't care how liberal or conservative most people are, the public shaming of a child because of characteristics like hair color, how much melanin they have in their skin, or any other characteristics the child has no control over is quite ok with a large portion of the ruling class top to bottom is scary. The fact that a quite large number the regular guys and gals would support it, implicitly or explicitly, is terrifying.

as you know, those who scream the loudest about Race are generally those that profit the most from it,

True, unfortunately, very unfortunately as a matter of fact, in large sections of the government and economy the most dangerous of this lot are increasingly in charge.

Are there stronger more meaningful words than Evil and Corrupt?
If so they would prove to be woefully short in describing this lot now in charge.

Whenever you talk about the sorry state of education, the liberals always say, "It's the parents' fault -- they don't care."

But when the parents DO care, suddenly they're Domestic Terrorists.

what gets me is those that scream and holler that white man is bad, suddenly want to segregate themselves, sometimes from everyone but like minded/color/religion people

yet that was what they were complaining about and declared wrong to begin with

            the hypocrisy is beyond belief

Next the Texas Taliban will be telling people what topics are acceptable or not at Thanksgiving dinner.

              Yes, that's sarcasm.

Anyhow, let's keep a pin in this one for the next time somebody bemoans government regulation of speech on a thorny social topic: Texas is leading the way.

you realize that this part is basically you, right

they can also foster all-or-nothing thinking by placing individuals and groups into binary categories and ignoring nuance.

and your continued snide comments about the supposed Texas Taliban, despite members here objection to it is in another part of the article,,

be maligned by the same labeling regardless.

maybe you need to put a pin in it,, sarcasm or not?
