He should be acquitted on all charges, but the Jury members
were photographed - illegally I might ad - and with the threat
of violence hanging over their heads, who knows. Hopefully
    they'll do the right thing.
Anyway, Judge should declare mistrial with prejudice

If he is aquitted of all charges, there will be civil a civil trial as well. civil rights and all else they throw at him.

I don;t think a civil suit would go anywhere. I'd guess a Conservative
lawyer would handle his case pro bono.

Whatever, they'll be a lot of smashing and looting in Kenosha and elsewhere.

I put in "Guilty on reduced charges" in the poll above because that can come in at the end of the trial. Usually the prosecution will ask for a jury instruction that the defendant can be convicted on lesser charges if the case is not going well. Well, today the prosecution in this case asked the judge to instruct the jury they could consider lesser charges. The decision on that is pending......

I understand final arguments should be on Monday.

Hopefully the Jury will see that ploy for what it is. Desperation.

Judge instructed the jury they could not consider lesser charges, it's either all the way or no way.

My understanding the gun was transferred illegally. No charges for receiving?

                            Nope.

The indictment was for illegal possession of a firearm by a minor, and possession only.

The Wisconsin law says a minor may not possess a short barreled rifle (barrel less than 16" or less than 26" overall length.) Basically the Wisconsin law applies to possession of certain NFA firearms by a minor. It had been conceded that the gun Rittenhouse was carrying was within the legal parameters. The prosecution really didn't put up much of a fight over that.

Prosecution's latest tack is if you bring a gun you can't claim self defense.
