Wonder what it will do to immunity from an actual case? People assume they can't get it more than once as an excuse for not getting vaccinated. For example this variant comes along on the heels of a pretty severe Delta wave in South Africa.

My across the street neighbor is a 34 year old in great physical condition and told everybody that that he didn?t need no stinking vaccines. Then he caught the COVID last July and didn?t have to be hospitalized. He was adamant that he was now immune. Last week he tested positive again and now he says he will get the vaccine.
