If they can they will. Take for example their treating this new variant
Omicron as though it's like smallpox when it's a weak strain and
doesn't deserve the panic treatment it's getting. But each new variant
and they'll keep coming, it's what viruses do, will get the same treatment
of scare tactics and lockdowns. They need to keep the people away
from the polls come election time. If they can mandate mail in voting
under the pretense of keeping people safe, they figure they may be able
to stay in power. Never underestimate their skill at cheating. They are
past masters at this kind of skulduggery.

My understanding at this point is....let it rip!

Now if the dead start stacking like cordwood, maybe that changes. But not in GOP territory, where piles of dead are nothing to take notice of. So I'm told.
