The way out leftists vow vengeance after BBB axed by Joe Manchin ...

and they vow to strike back. How I wonder. Maybe they'll find
six or so feminists to accuse him of sexual harassment, or
they'll plant a skeleton in his closet. I'd advise Manchin not to
go strolling in Marcy Park, especially near those canon.
Cinema best best take care too and hire a food taster.

The total destruction of the economy will take a little longer than they planned.

It's Sinema dammit. In Stephen Kings book, the lesbian was a hero. I kind of liked that part. Yeah, thanks for nothing.

He's right about some stuff and they're right about some stuff. West Virginia is in a death spiral such that in a few decades it will be part of Virginia again. But damn 50 states is a nice round number so maybe Quebec will have had it's fill of England Canada by then.

        - - - Updated - - -

Literally, without coal, there is no point in there even being a West Virginia. The state is headed towards oblivion.

West Virginia is fortunate to have been blessed with enormous reserves of energy rich bituminous coal. These coal deposits occur in all but two of the

I am not sure what advantage there is to Virginia taking West Virginia. For example, according to Wallet Hub, Virginia ranks fourth in math achievement scores while West Virginia ranks forty fourth in math achievement. Reading and overall achievement follows the same trend.

Beating up on West Virginia aside; beating up Joe Manchin or Kyrstin Sinema by the Dems might be counterproductive. It would only take old Joe going with where his state is politically and jumping to the "Rs" to give control of the Senate back to them. That would really ruin the Democrats day. Not only would the Dems be able to pass nothing the Republicans would have the power of the subpoena in the upper house and could start embarrassing hearings on Dem. screw ups.

Remember, the people of W. Virginia didn't vote for Joe Manchin because he was a Democrat but in spite of that fact.

It also isn't just Manchin or Sinema. Several Dem Senators don't want to be on the record voting for BBB or ending the filibuster and Manchin and Sinema are just carrying the ball for them. I see old Bernie Sanders is demanding a vote in the Senate on this mess, I hope he gets what he's asking for but I doubt Chuckie Schumer has any intention of letting that happen.

Another piece of bad news relating to BBB. A lot of Dems "walked the plank" to pass it in the House. I bet they're just tickled pink now. Expect more retirements.

right Va don't want Left Va back,

WVa will stay WVa, thinking otherwise is just shallow thinking and silly

if we want to move some folks and property around (and this may rankle up oscars) DC should be given back to Md,

make the parks and Fed buildings Fed Property, but all the retail, housing etc become Md,,

Can't blame Va but if there's a fire sale we can't just let the Chinese come in and pick up the place.

No knock whatsoever on the WV people, but we live in a capitalist system, and aside from coal there has never been a good reason for capital to head to West Virginia. But coal is in decline now.

The politics of the state are I am sure shadowed by that reality. They don't want the sort of help the Democrats are offering, perhaps for good reason, but the GOP offers nothing but Federal austerity on the path to oblivion.

I'm reminded of the man about to be swept away in the flood refusing the raft because he's waiting for the helicopter. I don't think there's a helo inbound for WV.

Little known factoid about Manchin. He voted against Trump’s tax cut of 2017. He does believe that offsets or whatever must be honest. Not much of BBB could be carried out for 10yr and justified or costed out. I am not much of a fan of the rationale behind “so called soak the rich” as being able to sustain BBB for 10 yr. By the way ole Joe M has been in WV politics for 40 yr.

Say it again for those in the back.

100% about offsets. The tax cut was always another failed trickle down game. Compare the industries that benefited vs. those asking for more during 2020. Public risk, private profits.

Greenbrier turned the bunker into a museum, (interesting one too) , casino, high end shopping, and for the area in the heart of the mountain, a Server farm,

ATF has a big footprint in Martinsburg,

the Byrd political machine made way for a lot of money being spent in WVA,

the tourist industry does were there too,, Gauley season and Bridge Day bring in some $$

                            From an article:

?No one should think that we are going to be satisfied with an even smaller package that leaves people behind or refuses to tackle critical issues like climate change. That is why it is now incumbent on President Biden to keep his promise to us and to the American people by using the ultimate tool in his toolbox: the tool of executive actions in every arena immediately,? Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), who chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said in a call with reporters Monday.

Executive orders? She doesn't have a clue. Legislation is how things stick around.

The Squad would impress me a whole lot more if they actually got dirty once in awhile, building homes for the poor or unionizing a Walmart or something.

Trust me, y'all on the far right have nothing to fear from them.
