I guess I had a dose of the Omicron ...

Had the sniffles for three days. Gone now.
    So much for Omicron.
They can jab me when I'm dead but not before.
This whole vax and mask sh!t is a gigantic scam.

Over the last 40 years I've conducted a lot of funerals. Couple of weeks ago a football coach at the local HS died at 31 years of age of ... you got it ... Covid. He lasted several months in ICU. He was not vaccinated. It really cost him. Maybe he'd have not had such a severe case if he'd gotten vaccinated. Really tough on his wife and children. Even with good insurance, the deductibles and the 20% they will pay for over 60 days of ICU will wipe them out financially. Hardest part is now the wife and kids are left behind alone. I've got another funeral on Tuesday. Woman died of Covid. She spent three months in ICU. Passed away last Friday afternoon. Her mother got it but survived. My wife is home now with the Omicron variant. Thankfully its not so severe. Sincerely. bruce.

No positive test it just as easily could be a cold.

They count every death as Covid related even though most are due
to a disease of one sort or another.
The most prone are the elderly with underlying conditions.
Previous epidemics were never subjected to endless lockdowns,
or draconian mandates This Covid and it's variants will probably
get weaker, ie Omicron and eventually vanish the same as all before.
The Covid is being used as a club to quash public resistance.
And it's working. Endless variants, endless boosters.

Bruce please wish your wife a speedy recovery from the gang at the forum.

And you are right, that people underestimate their costs if there's a long ICU stay. It's really disruptive.

DT it is more complicated that your simplistic take on it suggests.

If you get sick and die at 31 yrs. of age then you would've had to don a suit of armour for the rest of your life. Well, I guess it's worth it of course. You adjust your life accordingly. Diabetics have to take shots and not eat fun food. Lots of people have to adjust to things in life. Better to adjust than be someone who gets cancer from smoking and states, I'm no quitter. Smoking is for sure. Covid is a roll of the dice. It's not guaranteed that you will lose money buying lottery tickets but there's a good chance. I don't like anyone telling me what to do. There's a classic.

It's a respiratory attack. Like most flu. It doesn't make your foot hurt like crazy. In the story, a very sick guy with cancer died maybe two yrs. early. Pneumonia was called the old man's friend.

Where are we going with this. What if nothing ever kills us? That wouldn't be a pretty picture. I can always advocate for both sides.

No. When I get a cold it goes; Sore throat, cough, runny nose. Lasts around 3/4 days.

I'm convinced this was Omicron. The South African Doctors said it was a weak strain,
but as they say, Don't let a new variant go to waste.

With respect, the man was in excellent physical condition. He was the sort of coach teenage boys looked up to and respected. That sort of thing is today not the norm. Lots of things happen with seemingly no reason. Perhaps he would have died if he took the vaccine. One thing is for certain. He did not get vaccinated. He died of Covid. Everyone kept thinking he'd beat it since he was so young and strong. It shocked a lot of folks who were inclined to take their chances. If someone chooses not to wear a seatbelt, they have to deal with the steering wheel and windshield if they get hit. Cars are not sold without them. But you have to choose to wear them. Vaccine is the same thing. It's available. It is no big cost. Same with the booster. But, no one forces anyone to get vaccinated. I'll be doing the memorial service for that lady on Tuesday at 1:00 PM. I watched my father bury his first born son, who just happened to be my brother. No man should have to bury his child. I think its about the same for that mother who will bury her daughter on Tuesday afternoon. Hindsight they say is 20:20. Foresight is better. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

She is a very strong willed woman! Drove 355 miles yesterday. Said she didn't want me to spend Christmas alone! This morning ... made sausage and biscuits! When I got home from the office, she had cooked lunch! Tonight ... she listened and stayed home while I did the Christmas Eve Communion Service. We had more people tonight that on Easter Sunday morning! Got home ... she asked me if I would like a big roast, etc. for lunch tomorrow. She is resting a lot. Slept almost 10 hours last night. Sincerely. bruce.

200,000,000 (two hundred million) Americans took the vaccines and didn?t die. 200 Americans died because they did take the shots.

If people hadn?t embraced the previous 26 vaccines, Americans by the thousands would be dying from not only COVID but also smallpox, polio, mumps, measles, whooping cough, etc. etc.

Go ahead and don?t get vaccinated and when you get the disease and pass it along it to your mother, father, sisters, brothers, and friends so they can suffer and die, it?s OK, you will be just fine.

                          RED,

you can still contract the virus after you have been vaccinated,

One of my wife's classmates died from covid, and was vaccinated. Another classmate that is an anti-vaxer sent my wife a detailed diagnosis of how the vaccination went through sever mutations and finally killed you. She didn't explain if the same thing happened to the 90% of covid deaths that haven't been vaccinated.

There is nothing like a near death experience from covid to change an anti-vaxer to getting the vaccination as soon as possible.

My Parents and my 3 siblings have all passed on so I doubt they're worried about catching the Covid. Nor am I.
