I don't like the looks of the future ...

It seems to have all the earmarks of a dystopian nightmare in the making.
If we're not all incinerated by an aggressive Russia or an ambitious China
then the World's leftists will chip away at our freedoms until we'll have a
1984 scenario thirty years later than Orwell predicted.
These lockdowns and mandates smell suspiciously like a practice run to
see how pliable the people are and whether they can be made to give up
a portion of their freedom. If they can, which appears so, then who knows
just how far they'll go with future emergencies real or imagined.
The leftward tilt of world governments may well be past the point of no return
so whether America can avoid being dragged down with it remains to be seen.
Maybe Trump will come to our rescue - a job I wouldn't envy considering
    the mess he'd inherit.

Same message every year. Go to bed Ebenezer.
"The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. Ullman

Everything going to hell has certainly picked up speed under the new president. Inflation up 6.8% in less than a year, the highest in 39 years, and that was under another peanut brain, Carter.

              Good news for you:

              https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/25/b...inflation.html

Biden has told the agencies to get after businesses that are opportunistically raising prices. One theory is that there is too much consolidation and insufficient competition to keep prices in check in a whole range of areas. Meatpacking, shipping, to name a few. The US Chamber of Commerce is howling, but in this case your sympathies lie with Biden and his regulators, right?

We can agree that Trump would browbeat industries, and they might respond with public displays (thinking Pharma), but meanwhile would pursue their own agenda.

My own view up to now has been that inflation is a business cycle thing, affected by supply/demand and to some degree by Fed policity. But maybe you and Biden are right and I am wrong, and the WH has a big role to play.

I look forward to reading your updates on what Sleepy Joe is doing right, and wrong, on the inflation front.

If you are under the illusion that Biden has told anybody anything coherent you are in the same fog.

a simple search of your post posts, and your wailing and teeth knashing over Trump , (and your trolling of anyone that did not believe as you do) is all the proof needed,

                  simply search your post history,

                  you may even surprise yourself

Here Biden is being praised, not for doing anything effective, but for attacking the people who aren't guilty of all the problems he has caused.
