    Who doesn't like Mike Rowe

The guy is as thoughtful and erudite as they come.

Rowe sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera. He resides in San Francisco, California. In 2016, he was subject to rumors describing his death, leading him to quote the famous line attributed to Mark Twain: "Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated." Of course he had a great response.

The living in SF makes me wonder a little though. I suppose it's a great lab to learn from.

I like the part about how expensive college is and people who think they should be able to take on dept and then fiercely defend NOT having to pay back the loan.

This is a long vid. I think it could have been compressed some. About 2/3 in he comments on covid. And of course he makes perfect sense. Well, as well as any of us are perfect.

    A John Stossel interview.

The guy is adept and logical.

McDonalds is paying a starting wage of $15/hour plus a bonus of $500 if they stay 90 days. Even at those prices they can not get people that are willing to work, can can count money, and do the most rudimental job. When the order comes in for a large diet Coke, they take 5 minutes in deciding which button to push and only get it right sometimes.

The common sense in prior years was that you start at the bottom and work your way up the ladder. Todays millennials and snowflakes believe if you get a job you do not need no stinking ladders! They can spend their entire life flipping burgers and own a new car, a nice home, the latest iPhone, and have 30 days paid vacation every year. They are owed that!

Thank all those great underpaid school teachers that spent 30 years teaching and now live in a $350.000 house and their paltry retirement checks, (plus SS), equals $6,500 per month. A married couple of retired teachers spend their days trying their best to figure out how to spend $13,000/month.
