Jan 6 -It's all the democrats have to run on for 2022 ...

It's pitiful but they're milking it for all it's worth. My local CBS
radio station has ceased urging everybody to get vaxed which
they've been pushing unceasingly for two years, to concentrate
their venom on Trump and the deadly revolution he led in order
to destroy democracy. The rhetoric is increasing in intensity as
the days go by, and it's getting increasingly silly. Uninformed
listeners might well believe Jan 6 to be America's July 14,
assuming they know what happened on that past date.
The question is; can the democrats keep the so called "Insurection"
ploy alive for another year ? They can't run on the economy or
the Afghan fiasco, and Biden's promise to end the Covid has
fallen flat. So what else do they have except their attempts to get
their "Voting Rights" bill past ?

Dogtag...It only took four years from the "Drain the Swamp" to the "Hey Ya'll Putsch".

Vote better next time, if you can.

"Hey Ya'll Putsch". A mystery to me. Again, it's been one year. Ten yrs from now, it'll be like the space shuttle blow up; Has it been that long(it's been thirty yrs.)? Not quite the same. Your dealing with humans and not machinery.

Good to see a consensus forming on that point.

Has Trump ever conceded that he lost? IIRC he bitched endlessly that his opponents saw him as illegitimate and yet he does the same on max volume.

Have you ever conceded that the Democrat coup attempt trying to overturn the Gore defeat and the more recent coup attempt to overturn the 2016 election with the totally made up Russian collusion farce, were both 1,000 times more vicious than the riot on Jan 6?

The answer is no and will never happen.

Well of course that won't happen because it's hogwash. The Democrats swallowed hard in 2000 and 2016 and went on with it. You saw nothing like the crap show that washed over the court systems at Trump's behest after either outcome. I Swear to God memories around here are terrible. Gotta be all the statins everybody is taking.

Trump made no secret of the fact that he is a horsesh*t loser, hates to lose, will burn the place down if he can to avoid a "L". That, in your mind and his is what made him a 'winner'. But that's not what makes someone a winner. It's what makes them a sh*tty loser is all. And nobody really likes being around a sh*tty loser because it's all about them 100% of the time.

Gore had no choice after being slapped by SCOTUS in 2020.

                  Quote
Seven Justices agreed that a manual statewide recount would violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Quote

Trump had been backstabbed by Democrats tens of thousands of times with completely made up and financed bald faced proven lies. Should he just walk away when it happens again, and again, and again?

7-2 against spot recounts using different standards across the state. Those being similar to the selective "audits" Team Trump used to argue the Big Lie.

5-4, along partisan lines, against a statewide recount under uniform standards, under the dubious logic that a recount under uniform standards somehow violates the equal protection clause of the Constitution. Nobody even tries to defend that argument anymore.

                    (Insert Paul Harvey tagline here.)

Trump was never backstabbed by Democrats. Now you just sound like one of those Weimar era mossbacks. Germany didn't lose the war to the Western allies....

                    Ridiculous.

And after the Bush v. Gore, Gore went on with his life. No January 6 riots, no fundraising off of a Big Lie.

It's said that Pence even talked to Al Gore, believe it or not. I'll just say that the example Gore set on HIS January 6 was the correct one, how the thing is supposed to be done. That Pence strove to do the same, good for him.

Therefore it tells you everything you need to know how classless Trumpworld is, how debased, that Pence is persona non grata for his actions that day.

So you still have not realized that the millions of published lies and slander, death by a thousand cuts, water dripping on your forehead, treatment that Trump suffered through would piss off a Mother Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu and even cause her to respond.

Anybody that knows any thing about Trump, realizes that he is a narcissist and would never ask anyones help to achieve. Therefore, any rational person would know the entire Russian collusion conspiracy theory was a complete bogus and a made up scam from the beginning.

Wholeheartedly agree that narcissism is at Trump's core. Glad we agree on something at long last.

However it would come as news to anyone that has met one, that narcissists draw the line at making requests. Common experience would be they are ready to ask, demand, beg, wheedle, cajole, lie, flatter, wink, etc. to see their demands met.

Check out the audio of the Raffensberger call if you need an example.

We may never learn the nature of Trump's fixation with Putin, just as we may never learn the purpose of the Trump Tower basement server communicating with a Moscow bank. But for me it's enough to know that the campaign and Russians came to a tacit understanding, that any/all legal/illegal means to torpedo Hillary were welcomed.

If January 6 taught us anything, I hope it would be that we absolutely have to steer clear of Presidents lacking a conscience. Even if nobody talks about it, I hope that folks who supported him in '16 and '20 quietly see that now.
