It's our virus and it is contagious. The entire 'woke' b.s. is spreading in Europe. Putin is more afraid of it than the squatter in the WH, and this article and the one linked at the top of it are talking about how it is infecting the blood of discourse over there. What I found interesting is that the term
'cancel culture' is taken straight into the lexicon in France and Germany, rather than being translated into native concepts, given French paranoia about foreign words polluting their language and the German fetish for polysyllables. The idea of restricting thought, opinion and speech is so foreign to them it has to be left in American English. Aided and abetted by socialist media the unfiltered ramblings of a sans culotte get right up front.
Pure democracy; we'll deal with it and get to the other side.

Oh yeah trans stuff. That's a big fight. Some people want the Normal tent to get bigger and some do not. Academia, so they fight with words versus rocks and bottles. But word fights can get pissy.
