So you've found your "sweet spot" of caring, eh?

Enough to report but not enough to make good suggestions what they should do different.

Chicago is it's own little microcosm,

until the political machine, and cultural issues want to change, it never will

Is Chicago's androgynous mayor taking outside suggestions?

Hey, I've posted that site many times before! In fact about once a month because I was born and raised in Chicago before moving to Wis. So I do have an interest in that city! As to suggestions what they should do different, don't be silly, even if I had one, what on earth could I do with it.? Lol

And the dumb post quoted below were you said in trying to get a response from me were you said.

"Have a good idea? I'm sure someone would listen.

Funny I read again and no suggestions offered!

Like I said, sweet spot of caring--enough to complain but that's it.

We all love those guys at work don't we.

You darn right it's touching to me as I lived in Chicago during the King riots and had a second job after I finished my nigh shift job and were I would go down to the big sears store down town to audit the registers after Sears closed for the day and I had first hand view of the riots, shootings and burnings while you just read about it.

Whether I like it or not I have a kid doing a stint in Chicago. Has treated pediatric GSWs in the Cook County ER, which is, according to reports, not the hospital you want to be in.

How about we take the practical view, as Curtis Lemay did when bombing Japan? The thing is, Curtis realized, to get results. It's hard to have law and order when there are armed insurgents terrorizing the populace. Therefore, pacify the region, including disarmament. Can pacification work without disarmament?

Too much? Better to just complain about whatever half-measures are being used not getting results?

Doesn't have to be the whole city. Just those areas that are insurgent occupied.

Read my post. It's not dumb to point out that you are being that guy who just bitches and never has anything else to offer.

toughest gun laws in the country, and still one of, if not, the most violent city in the nation,

cultural, and political, pure and simple,

2 things that will likely never change in Chicago,

Togor is baiting a little. I'm sure he has some idea of what some of our ideas are. But no one is going to come out and say it. You might get on a list somewhere.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
