    Borrowed from RED

Can't find RED's reply to a thread saying he doesn't think the GOP will take either House in November so I'm running with it here.

GOP keeps ignoring one simple little thing. They have to run candidates who are something besides "I'm not....". How about taking on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and their fixation on driving wages down to third world levels? Look at the history of the Commons and talk to the voters about how forums are the commons and censorship infringes on free speech. Try being leaders.

You are spot on! Remember Ronald Reagan? I don?t remember the numbers but at the MO Republican convention, we were voting on planks for the party platform. One plank I opposed and spoke against it. The issue was the plank would reduce the Capital Gains tax. I was against that and argued the the tax should not be reduced, it should be eliminated.

I was called a idiot. It didn?t matter, RR won the election.
