Wow, I had a thread shut down.

You just never know. I'm pretty sure it wasn't my snarky little post. I've posted worse death and destruction. Togor wrecked it I guess with the little bit of black "history". It sounded good. Blacks sure aren't happy these days. And I can understand why; The NFL with all their black adherents and players can't produce a coach? There's something wrong with this picture. This needs to change. Make some history, hire black coaches. Good ones. Football ain't no lame assed supreme court. It's important.

I think we've lost the ability to talk about some things as a society.

Watched "Dirty Harry" last weekend. It holds up!!! Wife liked it too!!

The question comes up in the movie repeatedly, "why do they call you Dirty Harry?" and the answers are varied, and complex.

In one scene, another cop says "Harry hates everyone...." and proceeds to list a bunch of terms that would be a major scandal these days in a movie. But the gist of the comment was that Callahan didn't play favorites.

Or even old sitcoms from the early 70's. Black and whites talking about each other in a way much less polished than we see today. Only Chappelle tries it these days, and he's grandfathered in.

I did not know I was wrecking your thread, dryheat. Sorry about that! I guess some things from the old days just have to go unsaid now, for better or worse.

anyone and everyone can see, (or call this or just about any) thread up with a simple search

so lets try to keep it that way,
