Rep. Jim Cooper of Tennessee made the request during a closed-door briefing in Congress on Wednesday, Carlson said

Carlson responded Friday saying, 'We are not tied to Russia, of course'

He claimed the request was made in retaliation for his criticism of the Biden administration's Ukraine policy

Carlson told viewers that Rep. Cooper 'admitted what he did' and was 'too cowardly to come on tonight to explain how he could justify that'

Tucker Carlson usually gives me indigestion but opposing putting NATO forces forward knowing they won't be used is a reasonable position, I have reservations about that myself.

Joe Biden is most directly responsible for this. When he geen-lighted Nordstream II to buy putin off (who's the Russian collaborator/asset now) he took Germany and several other NATO partners completely out of this. Putin owns the Germans and we can't do a damn thing about it now. That's what put Putin's big move in motion. That's a fact, its undeniable.

If we really gave a rats rear about the Ukraine we would have upgraded them when it counted but nobody, not Bush, not Obama and not Trump wanted to do that. The Ukrainian Airforce deploys 11, that's right 11 SU 27 air superiority fighters. They also have 9 obsolescent SU24 "bomb trucks," and 10 SU25s that are the Russian equivalent of the A-10. If the balloon goes up every Ukrainian pilot will die for his country in the first hour, the Russians will have absolute air supremacy and church is going to be out. What did we do......no F15s, no F16as, not even a damned F5...no training, no nothing. MREs, blankets, MANPADS, and some anti tank missiles. That my friend is a fig leaf.

I bet the "Ukes" are hating giving up those nukes at our request in the early 90s now.
