My local has no powder to put on the shelf and has no idea what might come in any given delivery.

Would like to try some Reloder 22 but will have to make do with H4350.

There are two ways to approach the problem -- get what's available when it's available and figure out how to use it, or lay and wait for a versatile powder (like Varget) and buy a couple of kegs. I tend to favor the latter approach.

Do you use off the shelf dies or made from your fired cases? Friend borrowed my dies and lost cases after the second firing.

I used RCBS dies, but reloading Swiss is touchy. Sometimes they are just a fraction from seating and they don't fire. I haven't reloaded for a long time now and I got rid of the dies. `

My understanding K31/K11 chambers vary a lot; the Swiss don't reload their service cartridge because they get 'free' ammo for practice. So some fired brass gets worked a lot in sizing. For me the cost of a die to fit my chamber is worth it.
