    Beijing Eating Up Siberia

A documentary about the colonization of the Russian Far East by Chinese migrants. They do big business in a sparsely populated area with an unregulated market. Facial recognition

A problem for Putin's successor to solve, perhaps. But by then it may be too late.

That border is 2600 miles long, and one county has 10X the population of the other, and the smaller one has a declining population. Maybe that's why he's trying to grab 44M Ukrainians!

Read an interview with a Ukrainian nationalist who pointed out that whenever Russia is internally under control, Moscow lashes out beyond its borders. Same appears true for Beijing.

Will get crickets on this one because it cuts against the alt-right narrative that somehow Putin is the new George Washington around here.

Makes me wonder if Trump would still call him a genius (referring to his podcast quote today) once someone points out that Putin has southern border problems of his own that are far far worse than ours.

And arguably he's doing Chinese business by testing is, to see if we show weakness. Just shows you what dimwits they are on the alt right that they can't figure this out.

That's all you have to say on the subject?

        Interesting.

          Johnny P is correct,
and the first sentence quoted above is why everyone here thinks you are nothing but a troll

Calling the alt right dimwits is a serious point, not trolling. Because I explain why they're dimwits and why their strategy is completely counterproductive to their STATED goal.

Now if you want to step up and make a counterargument, why they are in fact not dimwits, please feel free. That is the whole point of initiating the topic.

What you call trolling I call getting snagged, because I literally don't want you on my threads because you have nothing to contribute to them. But the topic itself threatens your worldview so you will sh*tpost attacks at me and avoid any/all comments on the topic.

you know this is a Right leaning forum, and you put out some disparaging words about the 'alt right' , which to you is probably just left of JFK,,,,, and then post again a few hours later complaining because no one has replied to your first post,

why would I make a counterargument,, when I am not going to argue at all? that phrase also gives away your intentions,

the point of initiating this topic is apparently to 'snag' someone and pounce, as you are doing now,
no one took the bait on the first post, so you get snippy on the second,

and as a moderator, I read every thread posted, so if you don't want me in your threads,,,,, stop posting,,

Your second post was insulting to almost everyone here. It disparaged whole classes of people directly or by inference, since "Alt Right" is applied by your side to almost anyone they don't agree with at the moment. I don't know a single person on the right who would ever say Putin was anything but a harsh dictator at home and international blackmailer abroad. It is especially offensive from someone whose party has spent its last full administration (Obama) either dismissing the threat or actively sucking up to Vlad. The record shows the Trump administration was actually more effective dealing with Putin than either the Obama or so far catastrophic Biden administration.

We know you don't like or respect us, that's a fact and don't get your knicks in a knot when some of us say it out loud.

As far as Trump calling him a genius, maybe that was part of diplomacy, it was probably more useful than Biden saying he has "no soul." And well... maybe he is, he's managed his own country brilliantly and played the West like a violin since the day he took over from the right headed but totally incompetent Boris Yeltsin. Not to mention becoming rich as Croesus in the process.

I've posted new threads no one has reponded to in the past and sure never got snippy because of it. Maybe I just wasn't interesting enough that day. Maybe that happened to you.

                Rant off.
