As well as the Russians with Poland back then!

    Russian invades Ukraine!
Special forces, hunters unleashed in Ukraine to detain - or kill - Kyiv officials

A squad of Chechen special forces 'hunters' has been ordered to detain or kill specific Ukrainian officials

The kill squad was pictured in a Ukrainian forest as they took part in prayer rituals ahead of potential fighting

It came after Ramzan Kadyrov, 45, the republic's leader and a close Putin ally, visited his forces in Ukraine

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, 44, said on Thursday he had been told there were Russian special forces in Kyiv hunting him down

He said his family were the second target on the 'kill list' issued by Moscow for senior Ukrainian government officials

Yes it does. Forgotten to history is that the Poles were wiped out of the sky promptly and had no effective armor force, but in straight up infantry contests they gave the Wehrmacht hell.

There really was a window in 1939 but for the timid souls in suits in London and the divided/defeated French.

It's a different game now of course with nukes. That has to be kept in mind. Russians are bad losers in the best of times (a fact that the traitorous AINO Tucker Carlson won't acknowledge) and if Putin comes out of this adventure seriously the worst for it with aerial kills of Russians on NATO score sheets, it won't go over well. Then again Russians aren't lifting a finger against this are they.

What a bunch of Snowflakes. They're everywhere. And to bring it full circle, Trump says if he was still in office none of this would have happened.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

          Yeah....about that.

          One has to parse that.

Does he have more military assets than Biden? NO

Is he still distracted in Afghanistan for not wanting that defeat on his record? PROBABLY

Does he squeeze more unity out of NATO and the EU? DOUBTFUL.

What does that leave? That Trumpian X-factor, his unpredictability . Well what's the Big Chip? Nukes. That's it. Trump could try to bluff Putin with thermonuclear war. Is that something anyone wants to sit through?

It has been obvious that oatmeal for brains Biden has colluded with Russia (that pipeline to Russia) and has colluded with China!! China said they will take over Taiwan and no one will stop them!! How long before N. Korea invades S. Korea?? Those doors are wide open because of Biden and the entire democrat administration. In the mean time, enjoy your $10 per gallon gas and off the chart rise in basic food staples!! Pelosi is already planning how to stop OUR cross country truckers. She has put up the wall around the Congress to fend off (resurrectionists)!! The entire world sees Biden as a worthless leader with no 'balls'!! Especially our enemies! ...(insults deleted by moderator)

the funny part is that the people of europe have the most to lose by setting by and waiting to pick the winner , seems like history repeats itself .

Baltic States are next, then Poland and Central Europe. At least in Vlado's wet dreams.

I agree and so long as others don't try to make hay with it, I won't flog the subject. But if it comes up again I will challenge it.... again!

the only idiot that would use a nuke is the idiot you voted for and is in office now

What Putin and the PRC has figured out is that NATO and the US will not use nukes? period.

So, if Russia wants to take over the Ukraine, or Poland or any of the other former CCCP States using conventional forces, who is going to stop them NATO?

NATO, countries that promised to support The organization with troops and money and failed to do so. Then came along a leader that pressured them to fulfill their promises and he was laughed at.

Putin took the Crimea without penalty. Now he is taking the Ukraine without a real penalty. What is next Austria?

Now the PRC can take Tiawan. Why not? What would be their penalty? Then the Philippines could be next?.

WWIII is just starting. The Archbishop (AKA the Ukraine) has just been assassinated.

The West thought the nuclear threat era was behind them. It's understandable to not want to bring that kind of brinkmanship back, but I agree with RED, that if Russia or China can just shake their nuclear rattle anytime they want something, and get it, then they'll keep shaking it.

A huge wake up call for the West and we better answer it.

AINO Carlson sings Putin's praises and says we need to focus on China. Well who is prepared to back the Russians economically? Red China! They're both against us and they found each other. So we have to get our sh*t together and stop the internal bickering. Personally I'd like to see all the TV and Internet Putin-lovers dumped in the Hudson yesterday, but their reckoning will come when it does. Who are the less vocal China and Putin apologists on the left? That's an interesting question and one I have to put some time into.

"Stop the bickering" is a message Tulsi Gabbard took to CPAC and she's right to do so. I hope people listen to her.
