    Germans Cut The Red Tape

So word is the Germans have agreed to allow weapons with the "Hergestellt in Deutschland" stamp on them to be sent to Ukraine. Incredible but true, if a FN platform has German components in it, then Germany gets a say in where it is sent. Isn't EU red tape marvelous!

Apparently it took Internet uploads of Ukrainian schoolteachers taking up AKs to shame the Germans into doing the right thing. Among the big economies in Europe, Germany is unique in having spilt no meaningful blood in defense of liberty in someone else's land.

What's wrong with AK's? Once you've really had your ass kicked you might be hesitant to get into any other fights. Ask Japan.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Nothing wrong with them. And in fact a better choice for a professional schoolteacher than a M4 or HK. The point is, if ordinary Ukrainians can die for liberty, then maybe Germans can stop bowing low and worshipping their God of Rules for just long enough to show the world that they're not just here for the money.

Job #1 for US diplomats in Asia should be to get Japan and the ROK to come to terms. Japan, another country that never spilled blood for the liberty of another people. They too need to prove they're not just here for the money.

I thought it was ridiculous when Germany sent helmets to Ukraine.
