Have talked to multiple Russians in the West with family back home. The young ones in the Motherland figure it out quick. The old ones with an emotional investment in Putin are staying in denial. Lesson to be learned there, maybe.

I am firmly on the side of the Ukrainians.

We need to remember Ukraine has a large Russian speaking minority and I believe they are concentrated in the eastern regions. Some of them may be stirring the pot.

The internal view may not be as black and white as we would like.
