Donald Trump promised a 20% increase in our defense spending and a revived military. So we are being told daily that Putin colluded with Trump to help him win and Make America Great Again.

Now Putin is invading Ukraine because his buddy lost in 2020.

We can have the biggest military in the world, but all we intend to use it for is to defend the 50 states and nothing else, then who cares how big it is? By the time the battle comes to our shores, we will have lost it.
