A Chekist. Like John Brennan. -
Good read and on point. I thought it was interesting that the word "Chekist" was used, Chekist is a term for secret policeman, which goes back to the Czars. It is work that a certain type goes to, tailor made for psychopaths...with discipline. Sometimes they can become so dangerous they have to be eliminated.
The two links relate to the death of Lavrentia Beria from "The Death of Stalin" which I need to see. Beria, also known as "Stalin's Creature." was the ultimate Chekist and a true monster and after Stalin died there was a real chance he would be the new boss, which was worse than any other possibility. However everybody was terrified of the guy so the brought in Field Marshall Georgi Zhukov to strengthen everyone's spine. While tongue in cheek he two clips below are surprisingly accurate depictions of the events leading to his "liquidation."
The second clip ends before they actually shoot him but when Beria realizes the game is up he turns in to a sniveling bowl of Jello before one of the generals there basically says "this is disgusting" pulls his Tokarev pistol and shoots him in the face.Last edited by Art; 03-08-2022, 06:50.Comment

Looks like a good movie. Agree, not much if any difference between beria or putin except one is dead and the other needs to get dead. Possibly someone is interested in doing the job?
