Zelensky is trying to draw us into the war ...

Luckily, so far at least, our less than Presidential President has had some moments
of sanity and has not fallen into the trap. Getting into a fracas with a Russian who
is power mad and is taking out his frustrations on his own people is someone you'd
best stay clear of. I'm wondering if Putin's elevator goes any higher than Biden's

    We're already in WW3.

Remember the Japanese invaded Manchuria in September 1931 after a false flag incident. Foreigners interceded on both sides in the 1936-39 Spanish Civil war, which the bad guy (Fascists) won.

The Democracies tried to look away from all of this, but the lesson was that YOU CAN'T LOOK AWAY while things simmer towards a boil. You have to deal with it.

So this is a global economic war, and a shooting war in Ukraine. Although as happens in war, fronts get synced--Russia recruiting Syrians now to fight in Ukraine.

We believe (hope) that the Free World (west plus Japan, ROK, Taiwan) has enough economic might to starve Russia's war machine, if the shooting conflict stays limited. But it might not stay limited and we're not the only ones with a say in that.

Easy to stay home in winter. See how rational folks are in late July.

If it doesn't have a number then it's not a war. And if Nukes aren't involved then it's merely a skirmish.
