Some people seem to have fallen in love with their masks ...

I suspect they may sleep with them on and will want to be wearing them in their coffin
just in case other corpses haven't had their fourth jab. Probably addicted to jabs too.
In my neck of the woods and everywhere I shop like Safeway, the auto store and
the dollar store masks are not necessary - but some can't seem to shake the habit. They
wear the mask not only in the store but in the car park and still have them on when they
drive away. I hated the damn thing from the word go and shed it just as soon as I could,
and did, except in my local library and the local bus where it's still mandatory.
Maybe these are the same people who believe that Men who see themselves as Women
even though they still have their original equipment, are indeed Women.
No doubt these same people are also Biden supporters as no one else could be that stupid.

it just amazes me to see someone in a car , by themselves, or walking down the street, all alone on a bright sunny day,, wearing a mask,

togor, you are fast becoming ignorable like your friend roadtrax is.
You make little sense in your replies and like CNN you view a contrary
view to a liberal point, anti American.
For instance; You conclude that because I don't like Zelensky, then I must like Putin.
It's not only dumb, it's childish.
It would be nice to get an argument rather than a poke in the eye.
I'm sure you could muster one if you tried as no one else bothers.

The Ukraine war is one of those showdowns that neither side can afford to lose. Most people feel it, maybe that includes you. If so, which side are you rooting for and why?

You want substantive discussion so here we go.

togor likes to argue over anything, usually with kindergarten remarks.
Paper masks have been proven to NOT be effective! Face shields....ditto! Those plexiglas shields around cashiers....ditto! Everyday I see, usually old people wearing 2 paper masks, shield and driving a car. Even our local hospital requiers face masks (paper) while any doctor or nurse will tell you they are useless!

What is it about covid that causes personal irritation from someone else wearing a mask?

that is his way, and why so many here (and elsewhere) consider him a troll,

I don't think you should exactly pat yourself on the back for being so conditioned to the "question more" style of propaganda that you regularly assert that the truth of a matter is unknowable. Which you always do.

It is after all very American to have a sense of right v. wrong, and when something goes away, to expect the facts of the matter to come out. This is among other traits separates us from the Russian people, who despite their many gifts long ago gave up on the idea that there's such a thing as truth, and it's worth trying to know what it is. So now they sit in their living rooms not knowing what the hell to think as their economy sputters and they get these rumors that things in Ukraine are far worse than what the government says.

In the words of a former employee of Russian state TV, who spent 20 years producing programming that he never watched:

"In Russia, television is made for people who for one reason or another are too lazy to use alternative sources of information," Mr. Likin said in a phone interview, reflecting on his audience. "These are simply people who lack education, or who lack the habit of analysis."
RED's black white & grey may not always match my own but I see in his wanting to get to the truth of something a trait that is much more in the American spirit than what you offer. Of course this is all word salad to you as you don't know what the hell I am talking about and never will.

you have proved yet another point

shallow on the reading and posting,

you think question more is propaganda, since the RT started using it,

while I simply suggest to not just read the headlines in the pravda type websites you view (Vox, Atlantic etc ,,,, )

if you recall, I mentioned long ago about working for folks that encourage us to Question , ask the Why's and get to Root Causes,

sometimes the Truth is unknowable, there are things going on now that you , I, RED, dogtag etc will never find the truth about, or have what we may think is the truth verified ,,,

your Russian quote is laughable, since you fall hook line and sinker for all the Leftist drivel from those sources I mentioned, and never question any of it, cause it all must be gospel to you,,

and now you are suddenly Mr American Pie,,, after the past 4 yrs of drivel??
and as far as word salad,,, yes, you are a master at that,

as far as the other insults,, (notice my comments described your ways and were not insulting,, ) you are now on the normal togor path,,

someone questioned me,,, oh my, lets lash out, feelings hurt, fling some insults ,,, boo hoo,

                          care to continue??
