Putin needs to go. It was wrong on what grounds?
I guess I don't get it. Biden said...

It wasn't wrong. All he did was state the obvious, what everyone is thinking anyways.
If Russians hear it then they can take it as a hint that the West won't make trouble if Putin develops a sudden health issue and things get hectic back for awhile in Moscow. That's a useful hint to drop. -
The idea had merit, but Presidents should not go around calling for the assassination of other Presidents.
It just shows a lack of decorum.
Actually, the head of government that needs getting rid of - is Biden.
Of course we're civilized so we'll wait until 2024 comes around.
He is the maker of headaches, the bringer of inflation, the collapse
of our energy sector with the farm industry to follow. He's selling
our precious farmland to China. What brilliance.Last edited by dogtag; 03-27-2022, 12:23.Comment

Old Joe seemed to have achieved a bit of lucidity and they let him go on a hot mike and he calls for getting rid of Putin. Something everyone knows, just not acceptable from the leader of Putin's biggest rival in world political circles.
President Reagan called for getting rid of the wall, not Gorby.Comment

Again this utterance doesn't bother me but what I don't understand is why every government feels it necessary to tell the press how many missiles and of what kind they're sending into Ukraine. And this Polish MiG-29 business. Send them or don't but don't talk about it to reporters.Comment

He didn't say that - you said that. I understand you're trying to help him, but he's beyond help.Comment

Does you really think Putin hasn't long figured out that he burned all bridges to the West?

In case you hadn't noticed, he can still sell those things. The West just isn't going to sell him any cool stuff in return that would make Russia a more bearable place to live. Not until they see the light.Comment

True, he's still selling stuff to us, but China needs loads of potash and
Putin could cut off sales if provoked or encouraged by China who needs fertilizer
for all that American farmland it now owns.
I recall that during WW2 Germany was buying copper from her enemy Britain
until it could no longer.
Dealing with a potential enemy is tenuous at best.Comment

Re: slojoe. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. So ... slojoe got off script and told the truth. His handlers immediately went into slojoe reset mode. After all, slojoe has a propensity for slipping out of his handlers leash. Like a broken clock, from time to time, he is right. Wish he could at least be right as much as a broken clock.
