if you look at the new posts, or any section, you should see one that says moderated,

as in it is waiting for you to look over it and approve it,

you are a big enough post ho here to see this stuff, I generally check in the AM and PM, sometimes, but not always in the middle of the day, (busy)


you can , if you know where to look, see every user that has been banned as well

The latest I've seen is where an established members account has been hacked and then use that account to post sale items, usually at bargain prices.
The last hacker was from Istanbul, Turkey....

This has happened on both the CMP and M14 Forums too. Most often these will be offers that are "too good to be true" Be careful out there!!!

had about 10 or so moderated posts last night , and I cleaned up (as in banned) an additional 30+ new members,

some will have website in their profile,
some will have a blog, that is basically a big advertisement, (from porn to products)


fortunately the software seems to toss the first post in a moderated mode, so we (mods) have to approve it before the rest can see it,

if one gets thru,, common sense says to be careful if you click any link,

or if you see someone that looks suspicious, with low post count etc, PM on of the moderators (no idea what the report button reports too so ignore that) and we can look over the profile,

BTW, some of you are good at tracking pictures, Roadking esp, so if a for sale item has a pic, do a google image search,,
