It would be like unraveling the Gordian Knot without a sword.
Biden in one year has managed to bring America to the brink of
anarchy with multiple democrat run cities resembling Gettysburg.
The economy is a shambles, the southern border no longer exists
allowing every tom dick and harry to help themselves to the
democrat largesse - or more accurately, our taxpayers' money.
And Biden has another three years during which he can cause
havoc on a monumental scale. And he will.
If Trump were to win in 24 just how will he go about breathing
life into a dead phoenix ? Maybe there's a young newsboy who
can say Shazam and help him because that's what he'll need.
I hate sounding pessimistic, but that's what I've become.

Politician who said it aside, which message hits home more with you? Which feels like the more genuinely American approach to governing?

That's the point being made here. Biden speaks to hidden strengths in the people that Trump overlooks.

Trump, you'll remember, pardoned a guy (Stephen Bannon) who was under federal indictment for defrauding....not Democrats....rather....wait for it....Trump supporters!

That speaks volumes. And if I tell you that the Constitution is in better hands with Biden in office instead of Trump, and you tell me how messed up THAT is, well I agree! Biden is as guilty as Trump in trying to conjure a mythic past, but there's a fundamental decency to Biden's vision that Trump's lacks. If that rankles you, then support conservatives who aren't so black-hearted.
