Drone video shows Russian tank ?opening fire on a lone cyclist?

Drone video shows Russian tank ?opening fire on a cyclist? in Bucha at spot where bodies were later found strewn across the street
Footage of the attack in Kyiv Oblast shows a man walking his bicycle up a street

The drone camera pans upwards to show a column of Russian military vehicles

Two are shown lying in wait down a street off the road the cyclist is walking up

As he turns the corner, one of the armoured vehicles appears to open fire

The second - a tank - is also shown firing in his direction moments later

A second video reportedly shows the man lying dead on the side of the road

It comes as the horrors suffered by Bucha under Russian occupation are realised

Doesn't show a lot. It's dangerous to approach armored vehicles in a combat zone -- especially n urban combat.

It says he just turned the corner, and got blown away!

The unexpected thing for the Russians, apparently, is that they would be retreating so soon, leaving their deeds behind.

Yep. Imagine you're in a tank in a hostile urban environment, and a man suddenly appears in your sights. What do you do -- wait for him to fire first?

So you are arguing that Russian armor on Ukrainian streets mowing down anyone is just another day at the office, because someone could have a NLAW in their pocket, apparently. Does this explain why "hearts and minds" were so hard to win in Vietnam?

                  lots of drama, ,

what he is saying , I think, is that if you are in a vehicle, in this case Armor, and see a person approach,
and remember you are in a vehicle that has been targeted,,, a lot,,

do you let said dude walk up and by and maybe plant a bomb/cocktail/ etc, or do you shoot?

the rest of what you type is trolling,

Tanks cannot hear and are nearly blind. When you've been in combat a while, you tend to be quick on the trigger -- especially when in a built-up area (or dense jungle.) If you suddenly see something, the tendency is to shoot immediately.

He's doubling-down that it's inevitable that Ukrainian civilians are shot up by buttoned-up Russian AFVs. And yet other towns have seen Russian armor and returned to Ukrainian hands and don't have these same reports. It's not hard to see the problem with his line of argument.

                        did you watch the vid?

dude walks up the steet,, then turns and goes up the street with the Armored Vehicle on it,

dude on a bike was not exactly acting smartly,

it is also not hard to see that your comments applied not one bit to this scenario, thus trolling

I doubt that he knew the tanks were there when he turned the corner!

                            Exactly.

Too much blaming of the victim going on here.

                              there is no blame,

dude either saw the vehicles or not,
either way, wrong place, wrong time

if he had any situational awareness, then he may have survived
