Nobody has confirmed nukes, but if ordnance went up then that might increase chance of some kind of radiologic release, possibly detectable somewhere.

I have wondered before about the damage control aboard that class of ship. All those missiles above decks seem very vulnerable to damage.
This, just the opinion of an old squidly TM2 type.
