Pray on your own time, not your employer's time ...

Freedom of religion has to have some limits surely ?
You can't drop down on your knees and start praying
during court proceedings, nor can you spread your mat
and prostrate yourself eastwards in a Safeway market.
Apart from being rude it would also be a nuisance.
This Coach was on School time so, if I'm right, he'll lose.

Anywhere Somalis get hired in #s (so Minnesota) they end up having to give those prayer breaks. Superstitious lot worried they'll burn in heck if they don't.

One place I worked at hired a Muzlim. One day I walked into a narrow storage area and he was on his knees on a piece of cardboard. Startled the heck out of me.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

With respect, No. Happily, Trump nicely restored balance to the SC so that this and similar matters will be decided according to original intent. This will eliminate the nonexistent "wall of separation," that has been repeatedly used by the left to try to force out of the public commons, decisions, etc., any group or perspective that they find objectionable. Sincerely. bruce.

Prayer rooms are a thing at most large corporations, and are not denomination specific. Don't tell Dogtag about lactation rooms...he may express more complaints.

              I didn't even plan that.

worked with a guy that claimed to be muslim and needed to stop and pray at regular intervals,

this was pre internet, so no one really knew how often,

odd thing was dude would got in the restroom, put a blanket down, and start mumbling if the door opened,

it was a 2 door restroom, and easy to open both then let them shut while you are standing there,
as soon as he thought you left, he got quiet,

then one night,, someone walked in and he was not praying,, he was snoring,

                busted,, and termed

News item says the Court is tending toward Coach.
If that's that's the way they eventually decide I'll be surprised.
It could give muslims way too much leeway in how and when they
deem it necessary to give praise to Allah. Christians not so much
as they pray with far less fanfare.
