Hacking the Russian operations of foreign companies still operating there, seems like fair game.

Hacking their non-Russian operations would be a different story, in my opinion.

But I doubt they care what I think, LOL.

The more I think about it, I never did like the way things landed when the SU broke up. It was a mistake to blame everything on the "Communists", and give Russia a clean slate. We know that now. It was Russians, not Communism, that led to the bad stuff the SU did.

Anonymous has certainly got the right idea about screwing up the russians. Better than a sharp stick in the eye. This will make them see red for a long long time. Sincerely. bruce.

Communism is a bad ideology, no question. Coercion is literally built into the formula.

          But stop and think--

Some places it gets in there, takes over, and some places it never gets a firm foothold. Why is that? The people, right?

The Bolsheviks were just a different group, that replaced the Czar's tired regime, to keep the empire together, as ruthlessly as necessary.

The SU craps out, some lands escape Moscow, and Russians go back to a Tsar again, but it's the same old same old, trying to reconquer what they think is their empire.

Real change for peoples can happen but it takes a long time.

The point is, it is a mistake to think that the seat of the fallen Russian empire will ever play nice after losing that empire. Not gonna happen.
