So how come it's always the burden of the West to embrace with gentle understanding every other culture, in this case Russian?

Exactly. This slogan was no accident. It was intended to persuade Americans that being in a constant state of uncertainty was somehow "better, smarter", then the old American impulse which was to get to the bottom of things, goddammit! As a citizenry, that was our super-power. You want to do a real MAGA cleanse, get rid of all of the fake question pushers in public life that sow confusion for their own benefit.
