Something very unusual happened at our very small airport yesterday. Six (6) one seater fighter jets roared into our airport making several passes and landings. They were dark colored camoflage and very loud! Several witnesses commented that the war in Ukraine must be escalating (calling it Biden's war). Those planes were not the latest design and looked to be 'old'!

About 5 years ago I walked out of my front door late at night and saw "finger fours" of aircraft on a heading of about 180 at very high altitude and very high speed. I got out my Brit WWII 7x50 binos, a very high quality set and they were still coming over when I got back. They were so high I could only pick out their navigation lights through my glasses. There were a LOT of them. On the heading they were on the next land from Houston is Colombia or Venezuela from Houston. I'd still love to know what was going on.

It's been about 25 years ago but I saw an old grasshopper looking Sikorsky H-34 helicopter hoover over a house for several minutes, then flew to another house and did the same, then left. It was unmarked and painted flat black. The copter hoovered only about 100' above the houses.

Perhaps this was the BATF or some other terrorist agency taking x-ray photo's?

X-rays work only if you control both the lamp and the plate. So no.

Infrared, or radar, maybe.

did they shoot the dog? if not, then it was not ATF,,



we have a lot of .mil in the area, and they use the city and surrounds to train sometimes,


it's usually announced,, but not always,

so a helicopter or 10 in an area, darting hither and yon, is kinda common,


flightradar24 will show some of the planes, and where they are headed but not usually ID (by number) the .mil ones
