What goes up is not going to come down ...

despite what Sir Isaac said. Well, it may come down part way
but not to where it was; food and gas that is plus all the other
items Biden sent skyrocketing. Obama sent dollar fifty gas up
to four dollars a gallon. Trump managed to lower it to two fifty
but there it stayed. Biden has surpassed all the big spenders
by spiraling California gas to six dollars, but he has three years
left with which to torment us and drain our wallets, so heaven
forbid it could go higher yet. If Trump wins in 24 he'll nix Biden's
destructive policies but prices will stubbornly remain high. Lower
than Biden managed to escalate them but still high. California gas
may well hover around three fifty if things go as they usually do
after printing press loving liberals get ousted.
Sir Isaac must have been thinking of cannon balls which are far
heavier than gas and food. A mistake anyone could make.

We haven't scrapped the penny yet, but we may as well. And the nickel and dimes as well. One dolla boss, one dolla.

No Democrat wants prices to come down. They want the proletariat to live in absolute poverty and totally dependent on the Government. Look up the Communist Manifesto the progressives bible.

I'd read the communist manifesto before I'd spend time reading the bible but I'm not immured with either. Here's the problem. -No democrat wants prices to come down- That's not it. Well not all of it.
The problem is; we as smart humans constantly move forward and if anything get's in our way it get's run over. With all our education and ever growing brains it's so easy today for nearly anyone (that wouldn't be me) to make a few million bucks. People who should be roofing houses are flipping houses. It's a cycle that nails the idiots eventually. That's just the yahoos. On the scale of 1-10 (Musk being ten) there are upteen millions of people who want what they want and it gets made for them. If some Chinese kook wants rino horn powder to magically enhance his manhood it can be found.

The rich get richer, and so on...
The rich soothe their conscience buy doing stuff in the name of helping the poor and homeless and it makes them feel even better about their amazing selves. And they are democrats (so far) or religious nuts (small %).
I like most (but not all) of the rich I've met. Money is a pass to do whatever you want; 'Because I Can', as I've heard repeated by BFD people with money.
So, all this money means, we can rip up the planet and toss a peso towards the poor and it's all good. More money than brains, every heard that one?
So in closing (have always wanted to say that) Are the republicans angels who will straighten it all out? Not from what I saw Jan. 6 Or going back 400 yrs. whatever they were called back then.

To be fair, that bunch at the capitol weren't affiliated with any party, they were just Orcs that Sauron conjured up out of the mud.

                    Actually not.

OWNERSHIP is the key to wealth.

Fix cars at a dealership your entire life, you will eat, have a roof over your head, raise some kids. Own that dealership and the possibilities are so much more.

But in terms of "how hard a guy works", does the owner really have it over the guys dodging rust underneath and nicking their hands up on engine heat shields day after day? Of course not. We just live in a society where ownership is the key to wealth, not how hard someone works at a job.

Let us not forget that high gas prices benefit the government since gas taxes are usually a proportion of the gas price. As the price goes up, so too does the tax revenue.

Canada is a petro-state so high prices definitely work overall, with the west loving them more than the east hates them.

Ain't it great? $50.00 to fill up my lawnmower, stock market down 4300 points since January, shortages, begging for oil. Slo Joe and his crack team are doing a wonderful job. Will our Dim friends find a rainbow in this?

What does Biden have to do with record 1st Quarter profits of ALL oil companies?

Largest free cash flow in 25 years. Sounds like a leopards ate your face argument if it's all about capitalism and government staying out of the way?
