Transgender in Souyh Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. South Carolina’s governor has quietly signed into law a bill that would ban transgender students from playing girls? or women?s sports in public schools and colleges as the state joins about a dozen others that have passed similar laws in the past two years

He stated, boys should play boys and girls should play girls. Someone asked him if that was biological boys..

He responded, ? are there any other kind??

togor, I'm pretty sure the Bible, or at least the one I read, doesn't mention transgender. However, it does sorta mention Man and Woman in Genesis.

just my opinion, anyone who believes this transgender crap they are a few bricks short of a full load....

High school age kids are committing suicide at alarming rates. They don't know who they are or what they are supposed to do. Their parents are too scared to try to set them on the right path.

We all know the score. Per some readings of the Good Book, women are objects of irresistible desire and men are sinners incapable of overcoming temptation so it all has to be locked down, lest God smite us all.

Except when it doesn't, and we all know stories where that's the case. Those sinners apologize and all is forgiven. Sure, sometimes they have to write a check, but they're rich guys, they can afford it.

Nature actually throws some biological curve balls...hermaphrodism. It is rare but it is a thing. So why does the DMV have to be subservient to Bronze Age scrolls? If "none of the above" is the correct answer, what business is it of yours or mine?

And don't say "bathrooms". Don't start with the Bible and finish in the toilet stall!

Ignoring any reference to the Bible and looking at the situation objectively, the reality is that a transgender student is still, in many ways, physically male. In most cases, males are physically stronger and larger than females. This gives the transgender student participating in competitive sport where the other players are female, an advantage that is unfair and unreasonable. When you consider that in many cases students are competing for athletic scholarships or hoping to become professional athletes, the presence on the field of someone who is playing unfairly and might make them look inept also has potential financial implications. I agree with the legislation banning transgenders from competing with women, even if it is not sensitive or woke or kind or whatever.

you mean like the girl dressing BOY who is 1st in the nation in swimming against biological females but, 480-something in the nation against the same type people that have the clockweights and pendulum between their legs aka BOYS?

The bible has little or nothing to do with it. Biological men have a huge advantage over biological females in sports. That advantage is not really significantly degraded by reducing testosterone. The most famous, or infamous, example (mentioned by Mark) is the Princeton swimmer who went from 492nd in the country as a man to 1st in the country as a woman in the 500 meters.

One of the female disadvantages is the "Q" angle of the femur. Women's femurs tick in at an angle due to their wider hips. This makes them more susceptible to knee injuries in high impact sports, especially basketball and volleyball. Show me a girl with hips and a butt like a boy and I'll show you a winner in ladies sports. Biological men, even after undergoing what amounts to chemical castration still are bigger, have more muscle mass and stouter bones to hang that extra muscle on.

So, in a nutshell, post puberty a guy, nutered or not, has all the advantages over a biological girl. These guys competing against the gals is simply no fair. Imagine Karim Abdul Jabbar in the WNBA.

Unless something is done about this it will be the end of women's sports

The worst thing is the gals are so afraid of having their lives ruined by bein labelled "transphobic" that they keep their mouths shut and only complain anonymously.
