There are so many of these shootings these days, that it's understandable that someone might mix up the real white supremacy jobs from the ordinary stickups gone south.

It's also revealing to see that THIS is FOX's takeaway from recent events.

        Fox understands their audience.

To the extent that they will identify at all with any of the recent mass shootings, it would be more on the victim side.

But not of gun violence, but rather of false accusations!

Meanwhile a white racist ideology that precipitated a worse shooting in Buffalo remains unexamined.

          Two things:

Since perpetrators of racially motivated violence against Asians are almost invariably black the press has covered the incidents less and less. I did think Beatty would have checked but apparently not fact checking before running one's mouth seems to be common these days.

Fox News is a right wing outlet just like CNN is a left wing outlet and what they (both of them) put out has to be viewed with that in mind. But Fox covered the Buffalo shooting extensively for several days as an incident of disgusting racist violence.

Suspect wasn't really black, he was a white supremacist in blackface.

              Art:

As we know, FOX has a split personality. The news side, and the opinion side. The news side will cover something like Buffalo in a factually accurate and competent way. Then you've got Tucker and Laura, who come across as "extremist easy listening".

But FOX's code was broken long ago. Buffalo is not going to be discussed on that network in any way that might lead their viewers to conclude that this kind of violence (or the movement behind it) is pushing the country in a bad direction. At most it's like an ice storm pileup on I-90 with the equivalent number of fatalities. Tragic but not indicative of anything other than bad things sometimes happening.

you really need to get off the headlines and actually look at what you post,

the white supremacy angle is just that, an angle, and continuation of the narrative the left (and CNN) has been pushing, and you have bought into hook like and sinker,

you continue to infer more gun control is needed, yet don't want to look at the misses or failures of the medical system,, which in his case, were many,

yet mental health is a taboo subject, and not as easy a target as gun control, (BTW,, his firearm was purchased legally,,,,,)
