    Driver Safety

Who would you feel safer with on the road? This orangutan or 80% of other drivers who are doing one or more of the following?

    1. Drunk
    2. Doped up
    3. On a cell phone
    4. Texting
    5. Putting on makeup
    6. Eating a cheeseburger

    Orangutan driving.

I feel safe when I stay home. They're all in such an effing hurry. Maybe they've got a date with Fang fang.

Our home was hit by an older woman driving her husbands truck (prescription drugs?). Truck left the hwy probably in excess of 80mph, hit a few things like trees, lawn furniture, fence and then hit our brick house the other side of where my wife was siting watching TV. It knocked her to the floor but did no harm/damage to her or the house. The old woman driver in the truck was OK too.

The tire tracks in the yard were about 3' across. I asked the cop who was filing out the accident report how the truck could make tire tracks only 3' wide. His reply was "it was traveling on 2 wheels at the time".

Just 3 months ago another car left the highway and hit our $10k ornate fence. The woman driving was killed in a head on collision with another motorist before hitting our fence. The driver at fault ins co will not pay for our damages.

Point being: You're not safe in your home either.

In both cases I would have preferred the orangutan be the driver.

I hear Orangutans can't drive stick shifts. Something to do with their bow legs.
