Ukraine's Zelenskyy pushes for new security agreements without Russia

Just a guess, but the 1994 security agreement might have in it that no country that signed it would declare war on the other. Maybe that is why Putin refuses to call it a war but calls it an incursion to over come and protect Ukraine and Russia from it's so called Nazi enemies!

Zelenskyy says the war with Russia will only end through diplomacy

Moscow's failure to live up to the 1994 Budapest memorandum. Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February was a blatant violation of the 1994 agreement. The agreement was signed by the U.S., U.K., Ukraine and Russia, and by 1996 it had handed over all its nuclear arsenals in compliance with what became known as the Budapest memorandum.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia will not be involved in any future international security guarantees following its violation of the Budapest memorandum.
