BLM gave $200,000 to Chicago group whose leader calls cops 'pigs'

In addition apparently BLM has diverted a lot of money donated to the organization to their own use!

Equity and Transformation's executive director has repeatedly called cops 'pigs' and added, 'defund these b---ards'

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation donated $200,000 during its 2021 fiscal year to a Chicago-based nonprofit led by a defund the police activist.

Maybe some people watch "Chicago PD" on TV and get confused that the real one isn't like the TV version.

    Anyways, sticks and stones.

And true BLM may not handle money well.

Also remember I have a kid living deep within city limits at the moment. Last thing I want is for the Chicago PD to eff any of it up until the blessed Day of Liberation arrives.

Black Lives Matter, but only money matters to Patrisse Cullors, and of course to her family. May not handle money well? She knew exactly what she was doing.

Does anyone say that anymore? Years ago, a black chick called me Honky. For some reason I thought it was cool.

Let us keep perspective even as we ding this lady. Emotion-based fund-raising in general has this problem. Consider Wayne LaPierre for example. Ol' Wayne makes this lady look like an amateur. Or Stephen Bannon.

Letting one's emotions get too wrapped up in the issues is what feeds these opportunists.

What Wayne LaPierre did certainly wasn't right, but he wasn't stealing money donated to help others.

The donated money was meant to help others by preserving their gun rights. It wasn't Wayne's to use for personal purposes. Just to make the broader point that fund-raising on emotional appeals is best evaluated non-emotionally, regardless of the cause.

but Wayne had it in his contract or had help with the rules,

                    did BLM have the same?

The NRA didn't collect money under the guise of helping the disadvantaged in the inner cities.

Poor Wayne. The gun haters always seem to have his name on the tip of their tongues as being worse than anything the grifters can do to the black community.
