    Boots on the ground

    Goofy Biden said a couple three weeks ago (to the U.S. troops in Poland) that they would see "boots on the ground in Ukraine!
    Guess what? He wasn't joking! Troops are going to the U.S. Embassy in Kiev to 'guard' it! Do you think they will suffer casualties? I hope not! But will Russia pass up an chance to show weak Joe who's the boss?

      US Marines are guarding the US Embassy in Moscow as we speak.

      Does that mean we're invading Russia?

      No.

                  Given the tremendous success that has been enjoyed by russian soldiers as they advance from glory unto glory liberating Ukraine from the evil "nazis," all under the fearless command and visionary leadership of putin, it is very likely that cadets from a boys school could drive them all back to the land of the bear with nothing more than B.B. guns and brooms! Why ... give them some old beat up Sherman tanks and they'd run the russians all the way back to moscow. Waiting anxiously with baited breath to see how everything goes for that great conquorer and his dogs of war. Sincerely. bruce.

                      Of course not, you f**l! Kiev IS different! Russia is really using real missles, artillary, etc to bomb the H out of Ukraine! BIG DIFFERENCE!

                          Reagan must be spinning in his grave at the suggestion that the US should act like big dumb pussies in the face of Russian aggression. All that buildup was not just for show. If Ivan wanted to hit the Fulda Gap, it was "game on".

                          More proof that you are a recovering Democrat who occasionally lapses.

                          We're not at war with Ukraine. Kyiv is not under imminent attack. There is no good reason not to have our embassy open, if for no other reason than to have an office in-country where we can keep an eye on all of the $$$ we are sending in. If the embassy is open, then guard it.
