Climate Change China & India don't care

The new 'green deal' being pushed here. OK, we need to get more management on what causes climate change! But wait! The 2 biggest poluters on the planet are doing nothing! China and India! The only thing China is doing is making better electric vehicles to sell to us! India is happy living in a smog fog! China is building coal fueled electric plants all over their country. Goodee! More air pollution that makes it's way here. Of course brain dead Joe will not pester China about air pollution! That would cause China to rein in sending money to Joe!

They have the fastest rate of increase in petroleum demand, for sure. For how long do you want to compete with them for fillups?

But not sure why you're dinging them for not caring about climate change, when you don't either, and moreover refuse to vote for candidates that do. Given your own position, it's nonsensical for you to do anything but cheer on their defiant smog clouds and lung killing air pollution.

Also true, that the laws of nature do not spare people from bad decisions.

Get this--some people believe they don't have to deal with the big problems because Jesus is inbound, ETA any second now.

Them folks are batting .000000000 so far.

Before there were glaciers there were people.
But now, if the glaciers melt we'll drown ?
Why didn't those earlier people drown ?
          Another puzzlement.

I have no idea what you mean by your post. What I'm saying is, why isn't China and India held accountable for their pollution? Why is the 'climate change' fix on our shoulders and not theirs?
And BTW, where did you get the notion that I "cheer on" smog clouds RE: my "position", you know squat my position!

As I have pointed out before, the United States ranks just below Canada as a poulter. All the low-hanging fruit have been picked here. To make more progress in the US will be enormously expensive. If you want really major decreases in pollution at a reasonable cost, you have to look to Asia.

But again....you don't believe in climate change so why care?

I don't know anyone who is giving those countries a pass. But they are demanding a pass (as is Africa) as a giant "F*ck You!" to the rest of the world. With attitudes like that I think we need to rethink how much technology and capital we exchange with such people.

But then I believe atmospheric carbon is a huge problem.

What I consider a huge problem is those damn windmills slaughtering Golden and Bald Eagles and Hawks.

Quote (But again....you don't believe in climate change)

Twist and turn. You cannot deal with the truth. Nobody with a brain believes the climate is not changing. Only the brain dead believes that a human can stop the climate from changing. It will never stop even if humans are no longer present. There is evidence on other planets that they once had different climates so what caused their changes?

What caused the Pueblo Indians to move out of their Pueblos? Aw? must have been hair spray.

BTW The war in Ukraine has piled enough CO2 into the atmosphere to erase any positive effect all the green efforts the US has made in the past decade..

RED I posted recently in a different thread the linkages between atmospheric CO2 and civilization. Check it out.

Bottom line is the clever deniers who claim it has nothing to do with humans are just as ignorant of the science, the linkages, as those who flat out believe nothing is going on.

So from where I stand your take on this is clueless and nothing to bragg about. But yeah, the clueless do bragg. We've all seen it happen.

What you totally miss with your hate and bias is that without humans except for the last 2 geological seconds, the climate has continued to change for the past 4 billion years. You are assuming you are God and with a mere wave of a thought, you alone can for force the climate to stay fixed for the next 4 billion years. And here I thought Trump was a narcissist when he cannot hold a match to light your free crack pipe.

not sure what part of not being a troll you just don't get........

not everyone believes the top stories on CNN like you do, not even CNN yet you continue to push them and then do your best to insult those that do not follow your party line,

why is that so hard for you to understand?

So, only humans give us CO2

During the Jurassic Period, average CO2 concentrations were about 1800ppmv. According to the IPCC?s logarithmic formula for predicting global warming from increases of atmospheric CO2, that only relates to an extra global warming of 8 W/m?. By comparison, the natural greenhouse effect amounts to about 153 W/m?.p

Well, at an early time earth was nothing but CO2. There was no oxygen. And nothing lived but algae. But our house is on fire now. Throw water on it or maybe throw some gasoline on it. Heck it's already on fire, why not.
