They could let Black Lives Matter handle the distribution of funds. They are quite adept at that.

Well look if it's about cutting a check to one generation of folks, what's the point?

On the other hand, if some folks are still being denied the opportunity to own stuff, build wealth, because some people don't like the idea of "their kind" moving ahead some, well why not look at that.

But the case for doing that has nothing to do with slavery. Something like that is just the right thing to do. Yeah I can see the temptation of tying it to slavery but it doesn't help the sale any.

It is being tied to slavery. In fact some folks are excluded. Bad luck for them. GGGG grandpa wasn't a slave. Maybe> how the heck are they going figure out the linage?

If you were not a Slave then you should get diddly.
If you were, congratulations on reaching the ripe old age of 162.
You deserve a free wheelchair, free haircuts and dental care.

As said before, all nationalities and colors have had enslavement in the past. It's not a black thing as they would have you to believe.

But as you know, Jim Crow in the south, redlining in the north, were ways of trying to keep the descendants of slaves in well-managed boxes long after 1865 was in the rear view mirror.

Country never really had a big kumbaya moment on race did it.

But now that they have been out of the box for awhile there are some down sides for some of them such as Lack of family connection's and high crime!
